Eyelash extensions...

Hey everyone!
Today I went to get eye lash extensions at the Lash & Beauty Bar in Lewes, DE. I naturally have semi-thick eyelashes (in the words of Barb) , however, they are very straight. So I decided to go get them "enhanced"  per se. The cost was around $200, but it does vary on how thick (amount of lashes) that you want. The type of lashes this salon used are Xtreme Lashes, a company that I have personally heard great things about. Barbra, the stylist that did my lashes, was super sweet and had great training and a lot of experience in doing lashes. She told me about how she went to training in California, and was trained by the same people who do Paris Hilton's eyelash extensions. When I looked up the company, I saw that tons of celebrities from Ashley Tisdale to Molly Sims have used Xtreme Lashes. This made me feel a little better to spend the $200.
Needless to say, I am in LOVE with my eyelash extensions. I only got them on the top, however, I'm not sure that you can even get them on the bottom (I didn't ask because I wasn't interested in getting them on the bottom). The process of getting them took about 2 hours and was a little uncomfortable, just because my I couldn't get my eyes to stop twitching. The stylist applied 174 lashes total. Also, I have to go back to get a touch up in 3 weeks, but that only costs $75, and my stylist brings them back to their origional thickness. Overall, I think they were 100% worth it and as I said before I love them!

Below, I have attached the Xtreme Lash website and the salon website:
And make sure if you go to the salon, tell them Kaiyla sent you (:

Hey guys! I'm so sorry for the lack of posts. I have been in the process of moving and busy with school and work, but I'm going to try to make new post at least 2 or 3 times a week. I do have a youtube channel that I make vlogs for every day so make sure to check it out at the link below. Again, I'm very sorry for neglecting my blog but I plan on changing that!

Smashbox: Eye Wish Palette

This palette is the epitome of luxe. The shadows in this palette have a wonderful shimmer, satin feel look and feel to them. I love this palette because it has a nice combination of 16 shadows, all of which you can mix and match to create an endless amount of looks. The 4 colors at the bottom also double as a great liner for your upper and bottom lash lines. This palette also comes with the Smashbox Lash DNA Mascara, Smashbox Photo Finish Lid Primer, and a "Look Book" of ideas for various looks using just this palette.
This palette is only $45,  with $1 going towards the Make A Wish Foundation.

This set is really sweet! It's perfect for all beach lovers than thrive off of that sunkissed glow. It comes with blush in coralista, luminescent complexion enhancer in high beam, iridescent complexion enhancer in moon beam, badgal lash mascara, life on the a list lip gloss, a fluff shadow/ hard angle brush, and an eyeshadow palette with 5 shadows in passion pearl, peachy sheen, terracotta satin, steamy copper, and deep bronze. Urban Decay: Naked

I can sum up this palette in one word: Heaven.

Bare Minerals: All Wrapped Up

I just purchased this set at Ulta and I love it! I'm a huge fan of Bare Minerals eye shadows and I collect them. This set is so sweet, with its cleaver names and bright pigmentation. The shadows are a little smaller than the normal shadows, but it's definitely worth the $34 for this set of 6 holiday shadows!
